We want our customers to succeed and are committed to providing you with the most accurate Amazon data. The accuracy of our metrics and sales estimates is based on a holistic approach to data collection and is powered by sophisticated algorithms.

The Amazon Best Sellers Rank (BSR) is the best metric to estimate a product’s sales relative to the rest of the market within a particular category. BSR is constantly changing and can drastically vary hour-by-hour for each product. Our competitors only use a single BSR snapshot to estimate sales. This is inherently unreliable because the snapshot could occur during a peak or a lull.

Viral Launch uses both real-time and historical data from real Amazon data points to determine our metrics. We track and store historical BSR and price data along with other data points to feed into our algorithms. This leads to the second most important contributing factor to data quality, our algorithms. We continually test and validate our algorithms against billions of known data points to ensure we are providing our customers with the most reliable and accurate numbers.

So now that you know we have high quality data, what about the insights? Viral Launch has run over 25,000 product launches with our customers. We know what it takes to find and launch a successful product on Amazon. With this knowledge and our data, we derive meaningful insights to help you make the best decisions for your business. These insights include product idea scores, market opportunity and maturity scores, warnings, alerts, tips, etc..
