How do I search in Market Intelligence?

Market Intelligence can be used two ways. It can be used in the Launchpad, or through the Chrome Extension, which you can download in the Chrome store here.

First, you will want to make sure you use the product’s main search term and enter it into the search bar. Be sure it's a keyword that directly relates to your product idea.

You also have the option to add advanced parameters, such as desired monthly sales, desired average review quantity, and desired net profit. And, you can choose which marketplace to research in. For the Chrome extension, simply run a normal search for a product through Amazon’s search bar and click the Market Intelligence logo in your Chrome bar for the same results.

The process for our tool to gather the necessary data will take around 10-20 seconds to completely generate, and you’ll see results start to appear as the data is gathered.

First, you’ll see your Product idea Score, which is a star rating, on a scale of 1-5, generated based on a proprietary algorithm that analyzes both the real-time and historical data across the market. This is meant to be a first-glance indicator of whether or not to continue digging into the data. For a one star product, we suggest discontinuing your product search, since it probably won’t be your best sourcing option. If you’ve found a five-star product, there’s a good chance that you’ve got a great product on-hand

Accompanying the star rating, you’ll see tabs full of information that you’ll want to consider when researching this products market and determining if you want to source it. The tabs include Top Sellers, Market Trends, Viral Launch Analysis, and Cost Calculator.
