What is the Applied to and Associated ASINs?

  • When you create a rule, you set it to run on campaigns and/or ad groups. These are the Applied To.

  • In each Ad Group, you can have 1 or more products. We look at all the products you have in each selected ad group to determine the Associated ASINs

  • We update the counts for both of these values each time we run the rule.

Example:

  • Let's say you have 2 products -  Product A and Product B

  • You create a keyword rule on Product A and select Campaign XYZ.   Campaign XYZ has one ad group with both Product A and B.

  • The Applied to would be 1 Campaign and 1 Ad Group

  • The Associated ASINs would be 2.   Even though the rule was setup under Product A it is still impacting Product B since it is in the same ad group as Product A.

FAQs

  • Why does the rule have 2 associated ASIN's but I can only see the rule on one of the ASINs?  As of today, you can only see the rule on the product that you created it under.
