Search Term Rules - Setting Destination Campaign/Ad Group
Updated over 5 years ago

When you create search term rules, one of the most important considerations is your destination campaign or ad group. Setting the destination is 2 simple steps:

1. Select your destination campaign/ad group. There are 2 options:

  • Add to the same ad group the search term was found

  • Add to a different ad group(s). You can select 1 or more ad groups.

2.. Select the match type.

  • When adding search term as a negative term, you can add as Exact (E) and/or Phrase (P).

  • When adding search terms as a keyword, you can add as Exact (E), Phrase (P), and/or Broad (B).
